Some print jobs need extra preparation after they have been printed. Budget Printing has an assortment of equipment and methods for finishing printed material.

We can provide:

CollationCollation: gathering pages in a job into a particular order for each set, whether mechnically or manually. StitchingStitching: (aka Stapling) connecting sets of pages with small pieces of wire. CoilingCoiling: punching a series of holes along the spine (edge) of a set of pages, then inserting a coil to bind them. DrillingDrilling: (aka Hole-punching) boring holes in pages or sets of pages, often for insertion into a binder or the like. FoldingFolding: creasing pages or sets of pages to create a booklet, pamphlet, etc. NumberingNumbering: imprinting sequential numbers/letters/etc. on pages in a set, in a particular order. MountingMounting: affixing/gluing artwork to a substrate, such as a poster onto foamcore. PaddingPadding: connecting sets of pages along a common edge with a thin glue strip. CuttingCutting: definition. LaminatingLaminating: applying a transparent film to one or both sides of a page. RoundingRounding: carving the corners of a page (esp. business cards) instead of leaving a sharp point. ScoringScoring: usually intended to create folds; impresses a line in a page to control where that page bends. CerloxCerlox: a type of binding that uses plastic 'combs' that hold through slots along the spine (edge) of a page set. WrappingWrapping: protecting a set from a print job in a film, often shrunk down with heat for a tight package. PerforationPerforation: creating a series of sequential cuts to control and make easier separating parts of a page.
